Set oven to 225°.
Take plastic wrap off the half pan so you will be able to remove the lid later to check the meat temperature.
If the meat came in a plastic quart container, transfer it to a baking dish, preferably one with a lid. If no lid is available, also set a bowl of water in the oven to help keep the meat moist. For 3 lb of meat, allow 1 hour of reheat time.
For every additional pound, add 15 minutes to the initial reheat time.Remove the lid and flip the meat around, then put it back in the oven in 10-minute increments until it reaches the desired temperature. Keep the lid on if possible to retain moisture.
To keep meat warm until dinnertime, set the oven to the lowest “warm” setting (typically 170°) and leave the meat wrapped in the oven until ready to serve.
